The P&C Association are responsible for and provide integral services to the school such as the School Canteen. The Canteen aims to:
- provide a balanced and nutritious food service to children of the school at a reasonable cost,
- maintain high standards of health & hygiene in relation to the preparation, supply and service of food, and
- support the school in its health education program.
The money raised through the Canteen significantly contributes towards items purchased by the P&C for the school.
The beautiful Ross Hill sign near the front gates is just one of many items purchased with these funds.
The Canteen Manager, Annie Whittaker is employed by the P&C Association to assist in providing this fantastic service. The Canteen is always seeking helpers so if you would like to volunteer your time, even for an hour, it would be very much appreciated.
Annie can be contacted on 0422 664 171.
Our canteen has introduced a new online ordering system called MunchMonitor as an option for families purchasing student lunches.
Firstly families need to set up an account by following the instructions flyer as attached
MunchMonitor instruction (PDF 48KB)
Orders can be placed online for the canteen until the daily cut-off time of 9:20am. Orders cannot be processed after this time. Orders can be placed up to 4 weeks in advance.
All online transactions are processed by the National Australia Bank, offering you the online security of big banks. MunchMonitor does not obtain any credit card details for any transaction.
There is one low flat fee, charged to family accounts per school term of $3. This is irrespective of how many students are on the account or how many orders are placed. As an incentive for families to use MunchMonitor on-line service the P&C has waived the first term fee to enable parents to have a try at ordering.
We hope that families find this service useful and easy to use. Visit the website at https://www.munchmonitor.com/.
